ABOUT

Hi, I’m Giulia, an Italian architect and illustrator based in Vienna, and Giulié LAB is my creative laboratory.

I create contemporary illustrations inspired by everyday life, where color and composition play a central role. I’m interested in finding the visual potential in ordinary moments and transforming them into bold, playful and expressive images.

My visual language is built around strong compositions, organic shapes and bright color. I enjoy combining simple forms, contrasting tones and carefully balanced elements to create images with a distinctive graphic presence.

My background in architecture has strongly influenced the way I approach my work. Studying and working with space has taught me to look at proportions, perspective, structure and the relationship between elements — principles that naturally carry into my illustrations.

At the same time, Giulié LAB is a space for experimentation. I’m interested in exploring how my illustrations can move beyond the screen and adapt to different contexts and formats — from editorial imagery and large-scale artworks to surfaces, objects and tactile pieces.

Giulé LAB is where I bring these interests together: a place to experiment with illustration, color and design, and to turn ideas into visual projects.
